Cempra Holdings, LLC (Nasdaq: CEMP) filed a registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an Initial Public Offering of its Common Stock. Te proposed maximum offering price is $86.5 million. Cempra plans to list on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker "CEMP."

The offering is being made through Stifel Nicolaus Weisel, Leerink Swann, Cowen and Company, and Needham & Company, LLC.

Cempra is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing antibiotics to meet critical unmet medical needs in the treatment of bacterial infectious diseases, particularly respiratory tract infections and skin and skin structure infections.
