(NOTE - only 1 analyst) Sees Q2 revenues between $36-37 million vs. $34.44 million consensus. Sees FY revenues between $135-139 million vs. $128.05 million consensus.
Winn-Dixie Stores (Nasdaq: WINN) 29% HIGHER; Reports Q3 EPS of $0.33. WINN reports Q3 revenues of $1.68 billion compared to $1.66 billion for the same period last year. Identical store sales rose by 1.6% for the 12 week period and increased by 1.7% for the 40 week period.
STEC Inc (Nasdaq: STEC) 22% LOWER; Reports Q1 EPS of $0.04 vs. consensus of $0.07 - may not be comparable. Revenues were $47.2 million vs. $44.83 million consensus. Sees Q2 EPS between $0.01-0.03 vs. consensus of $0.10 - may not be comparable. Sees Q2 revenues between $41-43 million vs. $49.2 million consensus. Also, Deutsche Bank and CIBC downgrade the stock this morning.
ALTANA AG (NYSE: AAA) 20% HIGHER; Company to pay out EUR 33.00 special dividend resulting from the sale of ALTANA Pharma to Nycomed. ALTANA AG will now concentrate on its specialty chemicals business.
Point Therapeutics (NASDAQ: POTP) 19.4% HIGHER; Announced that the Company's Board of Directors approved an unscheduled interim analysis on the Phase 3 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) study of talabostat in combination with pemetrexed (Alimta: Eli Lilly). (NOTE - Stock trades under $1 per share)

Mindray Medical International Limited (NYSE: MR) 6.8% HIGHER; Reports Q1 EPS of $0.16, 4 cents better than estimates. Revenues were $54.7 million vs. $57.88 million consensus. The Company guides higher for FY revenues and EPS. UBS upgrades the stock to Buy this morning.
Ingersoll-Rand Co. Ltd. (NYSE: IR) 6.75% HIGHER; initiated a process to explore strategic alternatives for its Bobcat and construction-related businesses, including the Utility Equipment and Attachments businesses. In addition, the company's board of directors yesterday approved the expansion of its share-repurchase authorization, originally announced in December 2006, from $2 billion to $4 billion.
Continental Resources (NYSE: CLR) 6% LOWER; Today's IPO falls on its first day of trading.
Agilent (NYSE: A) 5.6% HIGHER; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.43, 1 cent worse than estimates.(0.44) Revenues were $1.32 billion vs. $1.32 billion consensus. Sees Q3 EPS between $0.46-0.50 vs. consensus of $0.50. Sees Q3 revs between $1.36-1.40 billion vs. $1.35 billion consensus.
