Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACOR) CEO Ron Cohen is speaking on CNBC now about this morning's deal with Biogen Idec (Nasdaq: BIIB) to commercialize MS Therapy Fampridine-SR in Markets Outside the U.S.
While the stock is down 11.6% on the news, Cohen calls it a "great deal."
CNBC reporter Mike Huckman suggests there may be some disappointment that it wasn't a buyout, about the terms of the deal, or are selling after the recent run-up. Cohen said he can't explain the stock reaction to the news.
