Shares of Aastrom Biosciences (NASDAQ: ASTM) are seeing action Friday after the stock was highlighted as the "next big thing in biotech" by theStreet.com's Adam Feuerstein.
Feuerstein put the spotlight on the stock ahead of data expected Monday at the American Heart Association annual meeting on its personalized stem cell therapy for critical limb ischemia.
Feuerstein expects strong results, although he said this may not be a short-term trading event. He also warns that the company may have to raise money. He does think the company is developing their stem cell therapy the "right way" and has a great chance of success.
