(Nasdaq: SCOX) 33% HIGHER; Announced that Business Console, a SCO Premier Partner, has been selected by Sberbank (Savings Bank of the Russian Federation) to upgrade more than three thousand branch offices to SCO's OpenServer 6 UNIX operating system. It is expected that the rollout upgrade will expand beyond the initial three thousand branch offices. (NOTE - Stock trade under $1 per share)
Silverstar Holdings Ltd. (Nasdaq: SSTR) 25% HIGHER; Continues on yesterday's 40% jump when the company issued strong Q4 guidance.

Jo-Ann Stores Inc. (NYSE: JAS) 11.2% LOWER; Reports Q2 loss of $0.76, versus the consensus of a $0.65 loss. Sees Q2 revenues of $388.5 million versus the consensus of $376.7 million. Sees FY EPS of $0.60-$0.70, versus the consensus of $0.63.
Thornburg Mortgage Inc. (NYSE: TMA) 11% HIGHER; Company sold 20,000,000 shares of 10% Series F Cumulative Convertible Redeemable Preferred Stock at $25.00 per share, providing the company with net proceeds of $473 million.
Superconductor Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: SCON) 8% LOWER; Stock seeing some profit taking after shares have moved up over 380% in the past 8 trading sessions.
Verasun Energy (NYSE: VSE) 7% HIGHER; Lehman Brothers upgrades Verasun to Overweight.
