Mueller Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MLI) reported Q2 EPS of $0.47, $0.27 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.74. Revenue for the quarter came in at $594.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $275 million.
EPS last year was 59 cents with $652 million in revs.
Copper prices decreased to an average of $3.55 per pound in the second quarter of 2012 versus $4.16 per pound in the same quarter of 2011.
