UPDATE: Stocks Fall to Session Lows; Apple (AAPL) Ticks Below $90 for First Time in Two Years
(Updated - May 12, 2016 11:16 AM EDT)
Stocks Fall to Session Lows.
Apple shares are down around 2.5 percent today, trading below $90 (on a split-adjusted basis) for the first time since late-June 2014.
AAPL has seen some recent pressure, particularly following its Q2 report in late April. The stock has closed positively only three times in the past 16 sessions, excluding today.
Today's action has put Alphabet's market cap atop Apple's, according to earlier reports.
