U.S. Bond Yields Back Off Lows (TLT)
iShares Barclays 20+ Year Treas Bond ETF (NYSE: TLT) lost 2 percent in the past five days, paring monthly gains. The move lower is tied to increasing bond yields in the US which are off lows. Yields on treasures are slowly backing off lows as markets dip a toe back into equity markets. The yield on 10-year U.S. treasures is 1.677 percent today, up from lows near 1.45 percent stuck on June 1st. SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSE: SPY) is higher by 2.25 percent over the same period.
