Solar company ETF (NYSE: TAN) is selling off today after MEMC Electronic Materials Inc. (NYSE: WFR) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.26), $0.10 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.16). Shares of WFR are getting crushed and are trading down 20 percent.
Other solar companies in TAN are also trading lower include First Solar (NASDAQ: FSLR). Shares of First Solar are down 50 percent so far this year.
