Bad Morning for Commodities

DB Commodity Index Fund (NYSE: DBC) opened lower as commodities are getting hammered across the board in early trading on Friday. Cotton is leading the charge lower, followed by all of the precious metals. Natural gas is bucking the tend again today, but is up only slightly.
DBC tracks an index composed of futures contracts on 14 of the most heavily-traded and important physical commodities in the world.
