Standpoint Research downgraded shares of Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) from Buy to Hold in an intraday research note. The analyst maintains a $25 price target.
The downgrade follows recent outperformance of Intel shares compared to the S&P 500. The firm believes "If the market rally continues, INTC will be challenged to outperform and may become a drag on portfolio performance. If the market reverses, we will end up forfeiting the gains from the last six weeks."
