Pali Research Downgrades Interactive Brokers Group (IBKR) to Neutral
Pali Research downgrades Interactive Brokers Group (Nasdaq: IBKR) from Buy to Neutral.
Pali analyst says, "The challenges (tight spreads, low actual/implied volatility ratio) that plagued the market making business in 3Q09 look likely to persist in the near-term limiting fundamental improvement, and in the stock, in our view. With our 2010 EPS estimate moving to $1.40, we believe the stock could trade in the $16.50-17.50 range until the environment starts to turn. We still believe in the long-term growth opportunities for IBKR, but they are likely to take time to play out."
