Nordstrom (JWN) May Comps Up 10.9%

Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) said same-store sales increased 10.9%, which was positively impacted by the earlier start date of the Half-Yearly Sale for Women and Kids. Total sales for May rose 12.2% to $716 million.

Nordstrom expected May same-store sales to be 8 to 12 percent.
