Broadpoint AmTech Downgrades Vocus (VOCS) to Neutral

April 22, 2009 10:47 AM EDT

Broadpoint AmTech downgrades Vocus, Inc. (Nasdaq: VOCS) from Buy to Neutral.

Broadpoint analyst says, "We are downgrading VOCS to Neutral from Buy as PR software appears to be more discretionary in a recessionary environment, giving Vocus considerably less revenue visibility, in our opinion. In addition, we do not have conviction that customer renewals and ASPs will return to historical levels, near-term. Nevertheless, management is adept at controlling cash flow and we are more constructive closer in the $12 - $13 range, which assumes bookings growth accelerates in FY10."

Vocus, Inc. (Vocus) is a provider of on-demand software for public relations management. Its on-demand software addresses the functions of public relations (PR), including media relations, news distribution and news monitoring.
