Service Corporation International (NYSE: SCI) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per share, or $0.16 annualized.

The quarterly cash dividend announced today is payable on January 29, 2010 to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 15, 2010. The ex-dividend date is January 13, 2009.

Span-America Medical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAN) announced today that the Board of Directors increased the quarterly cash dividend by 11% to $0.10 per share. The dividend is payable December 4, 2009, to shareholders of record on November 20, 2009.

The dividend is yielding 2.53%.

"The 11% increase in our quarterly cash dividend highlights our solid earnings and cash flow performance in fiscal 2009 and our excellent financial condition," stated Jim Ferguson, president and chief executive officer of Span-America.
