S&P Global Ratings revised the CreditWatch implications on Akorn Inc. (Nasdaq: AKRX) to positive from developing. The corporate credit rating remains 'B'.
The revised CreditWatch implications reflect the potential for an upgrade following a review of the company's financial statements. Yesterday, the company filed its SEC form 10-K, which includes the company's financials for the year ended Dec. 31, 2014, ending a 12-month period with no financial ilings. The company plans to file its SEC form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2016, on May 16th and provide the market with a business update the next day.
We will resolve the CreditWatch following a review of the 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2016.
