Mondelez's (MDLZ) Interest in Acquiring Hershey (HSY) is Credit-Negative Event - Moody's

Moody's Investors Service said in an issuer comment published today that the preliminary, non-binding, indication of interest from Mondelez International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDLZ)(Baa1/P2 stable) to acquire The Hershey Company (NYSE: HSY)(A1/P-1) is a credit negative for Mondelez creditors, although it does not currently affect its Baa1/P2 ratings or stable outlook.
