Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) streaming music service could be delayed, according to sources cited by The Verge. Apple was expected to announce its streaming music service at its Worldwide Developers Conference on June 10th. According to previous reports, Apple was close to a deal with Warner and Sony Music. Apparently, talks have hit a roadblock and Apple's Music service could be delay.
So far only one major label is onboard, and BMG Rights, the fourth largest publisher, is a holdout, say reports.
Apple's steaming music is similar to services offered by Pandora (NYSE: P) and Spotify. Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) announced its streaming music service earlier this week.
