Credit Suisse downgraded Kinross Gold (NYSE: KGC) from Outperform to Neutral with a price target of $5.50 (from $4.50) on valuation.
Analyst Anita Soni notes shares are up 201% versus the HUI index of up 106% YTD. The analyst cited: P/NAV has re-rated by a greater degree than beers, potential Maricunga suspension is not in consensus, and the Credit Suisse technical team sees its $1308/oz target on gold capping at first for a retracement lower to $1,270.
