Celestica names CEO Rob Mionis as board chair, adds new director

Celestica Inc. (NYSE: CLS) (TSX: CLS) announced leadership changes to its board of directors effective around its annual meeting scheduled for May 19, 2026.



Michael Wilson will retire as chair of Celestica's board immediately prior to the annual meeting and will not seek re-election as a director. Wilson has served as chair since 2011.



Rob Mionis, current president and chief executive officer, will assume the role of board chair effective immediately prior to the 2026 annual meeting. Mionis has been a board member since 2015. Laurette Koellner, an existing board member, will be appointed as lead independent director.



As lead independent director, Koellner will preside over executive sessions of independent directors, serve as liaison between independent directors and the board chair, and provide independent oversight of board governance practices.



The company also announced the appointment of David Reeder to the board effective May 1, 2026. Reeder currently serves as president, chief executive officer and board member of Entegris, Inc. He previously held chief financial officer positions at Chewy from 2024 to 2025 and at GlobalFoundries from 2020 to 2024, where he oversaw the company's initial public offering in 2021.



Reeder has held executive positions at Tower Hill Insurance Group, Lexmark International Inc., Electronics for Imaging Inc., Cisco, Broadcom and Texas Instruments Incorporated. He served on the board of directors of Alphawave IP Group plc from 2023 to 2025.



Following the 2026 annual meeting, Celestica's board will have nine members. The information is based on a company press release.
