Amplify Energy Corp. (NYSE: AMPY) (“Amplify”) today announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of 8,548,485 shares of its common stock by certain of its stockholders which are affiliates of Fir Tree Capital Management L.P.

Amplify will not sell any shares of its common stock in the offering and will not receive any proceeds therefrom.

Roth Capital Partners is acting as the Sole Manager for the offering.
