CMS Energy Announces the Strategic Sale of EnerBank USA to Regions Bank for $960 Million
June 8, 2021 9:01 AM EDTJACKSON, Mich., June 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ --Â CMS Energy (NYSE: CMS) ("CMS") today announced that it has executed a definitive agreement to sell its wholly-owned subsidiary, EnerBank USA, to Regions Bank, a subsidiary of Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE: RF) ("Regions") for cash in a transaction valued at $960 million. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021, subject to receipt of required regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other customary closing conditions.
