Sinclair Names Laurie R. Beyer to the Board of Directors
April 14, 2021 9:30 AM EDTBALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) (Sinclair) announced today that upon the unanimous recommendation of the independent members of the Sinclair Board of Directors, the Board of Directors voted to increase the size of the board from nine (9) to eleven (11) members and named Laurie R. Beyer to serve as its newest member. Ms. Beyer will stand for re-election to the Board of Directors at Sinclairs next annual meeting of shareholders. The Board of Directors expects to fill the additional vacancy when a suitable candidate is identified.
