Jefferies Sees Teledyne's (TDY) $8 Billion FLIR Deal as Valuable
January 5, 2021 8:39 AM ESTTeledyne (NYSE: TDY), one of the biggest industrial sensor companies in the world, confirmed it agreed to pay around $8 billion to acquire FLIR (NASDAQ: FLIR), which is focused on intelligent sensing solutions for defense and industrial applications.
Under the terms of the agreement, FLIR shareholders will receive $28.00 per share in cash and 0.0718 shares of Teledyne common stock for each FLIR share. This reflects a total price of $56.00 per each FLIR share which implies a total purchase price of $56.00.
