Nokia (NOK), Alcatel (ALU) Pressured Following Ericsson (ERIC) Q2 Numbers

Shares of Nokia (NYSE: NOK) and Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU) are under pressure Wednesday, following second-quarter numbers from peer Ericsson (Nasdaq: ERIC).
Ericsson reported a 1 percent revenue increase t SEK 55.3 billion, but profit slipped 63 percent to SEK 1.2 billion, or SEK 0.78 per share.

Nokia is in a similar industry with its Nokia Siemens joint venture, a partnership with Siemens AG (NYSE: SI). Alcatel (NYSE: ALU) has also seen it stock drop as prospects continue to dim for the French communications equipment maker.
