S&P Global (SPGI) Raises Quarterly Dividend 17.5% to $0.67; 0.9% Yield

S&P Global (NYSE: SPGI) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.67 per share, or $2.68 annualized. This is a 17.5% increase from the prior dividend of $0.57.
The dividend will be payable on March 11, 2020, to stockholders of record on February 26, 2020, with an ex-dividend date of February 25, 2020.
The annual yield on the dividend is 0.9 percent.
"Increasing the dividend demonstrates our confidence and optimism in the continued strength of our cash flow generation and financial position," said Douglas L. Peterson, President and CEO of S&P Global. "Returning cash to shareholders remains a cornerstone of our shareholder value proposition. In 2019, we returned $1.8 billion to shareholders in the form of dividends and share repurchases."
