Jefferies analyst Brent Thill raised the price target on Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) to $345.00 (from $335.00) while maintaining a Buy rating after hosting a call with a Microsoft expert.
The expert highlighted that:
1) price increases will likely drive higher adoption of E5;
2) deeper integrations for Office, Dynamics and Teams are on the way &
3) Win365 can be expensive but catered to clients who don't want to manage infra
"We additionally have updated our model to reflect recent price increases which we believe will conservatively add an incremental $1.5B to Office rev and $0.17 to EPS in FY23," the analyst commented.
