Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most famous athletes in the world, and he has a net worth that is nearing half a billion (and only increasing as the years go on). He owns quite a few luxury timepieces, including this Franck Muller Round.

He showed off the Round on his Instagram, where it was revealed that it cost around $1.5 million. According to Muller, his Round Collection “reaffirms” the brand’s “mastery of watchmaking.” The Geneva-based company has sold watches to some of the biggest celebrities in the world, including Elton John, the late Robin Williams, Demi Moore, and, of course, CR7 himself.

Jacob & Co., a watch company founded by immigrants fleeing the USSR decades ago, is quickly proving itself to be a celebrity favorite. Conor McGregor, a talented MMA fighter who is famously outspoken, is a fan of the brand, and he owns a Rasputin Tourbillon Full Baguette. Set with 187 baguettes, this white-gold watch retails for around $2 million.

McGregor has a net worth of $200 million, thanks to big paydays from fights. He also has his own lucrative whiskey brand, Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, which is quickly setting itself up to compete with big-name brands like Johnnie Walker, Maker’s Mark, and Jack Daniel’s.

The World Time is unique because it shows the time of all of the world’s major cities. The white-gold watch costs around $125,000. The rapper was spotted with it sparkling on his wrist during his twenty-ninth birthday, no doubt immediately inspiring envy in the timepiece collectors who recognized it for what it was. According to The New York Times, it takes people around eight years to find one of these prized watches.

Patek Philippe watches are already famously expensive, but when you add a celebrity’s name to the tag of former ownership, they appreciate rapidly in value. Such was the case with rocker Eric Clapton’s former Patek Philippe 2499, which sold at auction for $3.65 million, thanks to its dual ties with the singer and the Swiss luxury label.

Apparently, Clapton was in an offloading phase when it came to his timepieces, as the Michelob spokesman also sold his JP Champion’s Observatory Chronometer for $4 million and his Platinum 1579 for $1.63 million. The watches, fittingly, were auctioned off by Christie’s in Geneva, the same city in which Patek Philippe was founded in 1839.

The watch, which contains over 100 carats of baguette diamonds, is one of the most expensive in Jay-Z’s collection. Hublot, a Swiss watchmaker, is known for its daring timepieces. The price of its Big Bang is the equivalent of nearly 176 2022 Ford Mustangs. The Big Bang didn’t put a dent in Queen Bey’s wallet, as the superstar singer is worth around $500 million.
