Cameo has been connecting celebrities with fans since 2017, with more and more big names joining the site to make a quick buck. Years ago, getting a video message from your favorite actor was like winning the lottery, but now all you have to do is click a button – and pay a hefty sum.

In fact, there are some really surprising people on Cameo that you may never have thought would be interested in sending out a “Happy Birthday” message. From an Oscar-winning Jaws star to Disney Channel actors and ‘80s rappers, it looks like everyone in the entertainment biz is jumping on this bandwagon.

1. Gary Busey

Occupation: Actor
Request: $350*

Actor Gary Busey has never exactly been the shy and retiring type, so he puts his all into his videos. It might cost you $350, but what you get is worth every penny. Gary invites requests and according to his bio on the site, absolutely loves doing the videos.

Busey can bust out a guitar, put on a stupid hat, and “send my love to you in a Cameo, however many you want!” as long as he’s got his “guitar, thoughts, and love” he’s ready to rock n’ roll. Something has to pay for his Walmart grocery bill!

2. David Hasselhoff

Occupation: Actor
Request: $499*

Do you know someone that thirsts over The Hoff in those red Baywatch shorts? Maybe you danced to “Jump in My Car” at your wedding and fancy getting a shout-out from the man himself? If you’ve got $499 to spare then what are you waiting for?

The Hoff is ready and waiting for your requests to come pouring through. The Comcast NBC star says in his introduction video, “If you want to see behind the scenes of Baywatch, Night Rider, or a birthday wish, or anything at all, give me a ring and I’ll get back.”

3. Caitlyn Jenner

Occupation: Reality TV Star
Request: $2,500*

Caitlyn Jenner is one of the most famous reality TV stars in the world. Thanks to her time as part of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, as well her Olympic history, the advocate has a very healthy bank balance – so what could she possibly need to make money from Cameo for?

Jenner charges a huge $2,500 for her Cameos, but according to the bio, the proceeds go to a worthy cause. “Here for fun and a cause greater than fun! I support my charity, Caitlyn Jenner Foundation, from proceeds that come from my Cameos!” So, if you want to get a message from someone that’s been in very close proximity to Kim Kardashian, why not give it a whirl?

4. Kevin O’Leary

Occupation: Reality TV star/entrepreneur
Request: $1,500*

What’s better than getting a handshake and the promise of a big deal from Mr. Wonderful in real life? Getting a personalized video message, of course! Kevin O’Leary didn’t become one of the most successful businessmen out there by giving things away, though. He charges a very impressive $1,500 for his Cameo videos.

So, what do you get for that insane amount of money? You can ask Kevin for anything from candid advice to graduation congratulations, announcements, and birthday wishes. Kev is also as speedy as they come, with a 24-hour turnaround available. You can get this ABC star to go!

5. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi

Occupation: Reality TV Star
Request: $300*

There aren’t many people that can hit it big by getting blackout drunk on TV, but Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is one of the lucky few. Snooki became somewhat of a sensation when she was cast as a member of MTV’s hit reality show, Jersey Shore.

Polizzi has branched out into many different business avenues to capitalize on her notoriety, including Cameo. For $300, you could get the MTV star singing happy birthday, or anything you like. As her bio says, “MAWMA can’t wait to make a video for you!” She probably also can’t wait to see her bank balance grow.

6. Roger Clemens

Occupation: Athlete
Request: $500*

Roger Clemens is a definite heavy hitter, having established a reputation as one of America’s greatest baseball heroes. That’s not to be sniffed at – but neither is Roger’s extortionate fee per video. If you want him to send a message to a loved one, you need to cough up $500.

Is one of your friends feeling a little down? Roger can record a pep talk and get them back in play. It’s certainly not cheap, but it’s not very often you get a video message like this come through. Most of us have to make do with Facetiming our parents on our iPhones.

7. Fran Drescher

Occupation: Actor
Request: $500*

Fran Drescher is an American icon thanks to her time on the hit TV show The Nanny. These days we may not see so much of Fran on our screens, but the hustle is still alive and well. Fran’s $500 fee for a video message might seem a little costly, but the cause is honorable.

According to her Cameo bio, Fran is doing messages to raise funds for her charity, CancerSchmancer. She looks as radiant as ever in her introduction video, telling fans she’s available for all sorts of messages or even just a “picker-upper.” Sounds like a great way to spend $500, doesn’t it?

8. Snoop Dogg

Occupation: Musician
Request: $500*

Snoop Dogg is one of the most infamous musicians out there, so his $500 Cameo price tag is actually quite reasonable. Getting a message from the hound himself is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face and go down in history as one of the best gifts ever.

Snoop is notorious for his chilled vibe and strong personality, which makes the videos totally unforgettable. As his bio states, “It’s so much fun when u doing it with the D-O-double-G.” Dogg is no fool though. If you want a business shout out you’ve got to pay extra. Someone has to keep him in Nikes.

9. Alice Cooper

Occupation: Musician
Request: $300*

Alice Cooper’s songs might be pure poison but his videos are all sweetness and light. At least, as much as they can be with this rock ‘n roll legend at the helm. Alice has shared a few example videos on Cameo to show fans what they get in return for coughing up $300.

For one Father’s Day message he even wrote a song, with such complex lyrics like, “I wrote this song in just a minute, and Danny boy you’re in it. This is your Father’s Day song. It isn’t very long.” It’s not hard to see why he’s won so many awards, is it?

10. Lee Majors

Occupation: Actor
Request: $299*

Who doesn’t want a message from The Six Million Dollar Man? If you’re feeling down and out, a message from Lee Majors might just sort you out. For $299 you can get Majors’ husky voice purring out at you from a personalized video message.

The distinguished actor still has the same charisma and charm that he had back in the day, alongside the scary “don’t mess with me” attitude. If your kids won’t stop ordering things from your Amazon account you could even get Majors to give them a stern warning. It just might work.

11. Steve Wozniak

Occupation: Apple co-founder
Request: $500*

Steve Wozniak may be one of the founding fathers of Apple, but he isn’t anywhere near as rich as Steve Jobs was. That being said, Wozniak still has more money in the kitty than the rest of us, so his Cameo videos are done purely for charity.

Steve Wozniak ©cameo.com | @shanespellman1977 / Pinterest.com Steve Wozniak ©cameo.com | @shanespellman1977 / Pinterest.com

In his bio, Steve claims that he wants to “brighten days for others” which is quite a sweet MO. There’s something quite novel about watching the co-founder of Apple address you directly through an iPhone, so why not save up and buy this as a Christmas present for yourself? It’ll only cost $500…

12. Chaka Khan

Occupation: Musician
Request: $650*

Ain’t nobody loves you better than Chaka Khan. In the mood to talk to an actual pop culture icon? Want to see just how spectacularly well the 10 times Grammy Award winner has aged? Head over to Cameo – just be sure that you’re ready to part with $650. Chaka Khan doesn’t come cheap!

The famed songstress isn’t exactly hot off the mark though as it takes her an average of 5 days to respond. So, if you’re looking for a last-minute birthday gift or something else that requires a speedy turnaround, you might want to stick to buying a record or busting out the karaoke.

13. Ice Cube

Occupation: Musician/actor
Request: $750*

Ice Cube knows that his reputation precedes him, which is probably why he hasn’t bothered entering a bio on his Cameo page. After all, if you’ve searched for him you probably already know who is, and some people just need no introduction.

Getting a personal message from this icon won’t be cheap, with his current asking rate set at $750. Of course, you get that extra little bit of Ice Cube attitude to make spending all that cash worthwhile. In his intro video, he states, “I’m here to give you greetings, you know, inspiration…sometimes you just need to hear from your homeboy.”

14. Richard Dreyfuss

Occupation: Actor
Request: $999*

It’s not often that the co-founder of Cameo Martin Blencowe steps in to create an intro video for one of the celebrities. That’s when you know the actor in question must be a big deal. Oscar-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss certainly got the star treatment when he first appeared on the site.

For $999 a pop, Dreyfuss can show you the scenery in Montana, say happy birthday, or simply just be his regular, charming self. If you’ve always loved Jaws then why not *bite* the bullet and drop $1k on this once-in-a-lifetime message?
