Senft is a really interesting guy. He has seventeen World Records for his bike-related inventions, which include such highlights as the World’s Largest Mobile Guitar, an instrument taking the form of a bike. He’s quite a character, and the cyclists love him for it.

He didn’t forget (as many of us have done on occasion) that he was wearing a mask. Instead, he said he drank through the mask because he thought the gaff “would be funny.” He was right, as the “blooper” went viral shortly after it happened.

Believe it or not, using your head, either purposefully or by accident, is totally legal in volleyball. According to Volley-Pedia, you can use any part of your body to hit the ball, so long as you perform the action correctly (you can’t catch the ball and throw it back, for example).

So, though this photo was embarrassing, this man wasn’t doing anything illegal when he took a face-full during a professional match. He might have even scored a point, were he able to face-bump the ball back over the net past his opponent’s outstretched arms.

In this case, this close call took place in 2016. Shaun Cunningham (the dad in this photo) saved his young son, Landon, from getting hit with a flying bat during a training game in Florida. It was a close call and, though Cunningham no doubt had a nasty bruise on his arm, his son was perfectly fine. Dad reflexes for the win.
