It feels like news reporting in the US is more important than ever, especially when it comes to where and how Americans are consuming their news. Regardless of your preference, you’re probably very familiar with these faces. They are some of the highest-paid journalists on television today, and they are in charge of making sure that we get the news we need to hear every day.

While each of them report to different networks ranging from Fox News to NBC, they’ve (for the most part) all been educated in journalism and reporting. You’re sure to see some favorite names on here, as the journalists on this list have built a career to be envied. Journalism pays well when you’re able to get on TV and these names are proof of that.

The global entertainment and media market itself is worth $2 trillion, fast outpacing the print newspaper market, which is expected to fall to a mere $17 billion by 2025. Advertising still remains the primary source of income for networks though, generating over $8 billion a year to some of the biggest news agencies (and reporters) in the country.
