The Ferrari charm is irresistible – not just for us ordinary folks, but for celebrities too. Its sleek design and spectacular speed have singers, actors, athletes, and more proudly cruising in their Ferraris, from Hollywood scenes to international destinations.

A true symbol of luxury and success, owning a Ferrari goes beyond just status for these celebs – they are passionate about the Italian luxury sports car’s unique aesthetic and exceptional performance. Let’s explore the stars who make up the exclusive Ferrari-owner club.

1. David Letterman

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari 330 GTS
Est. Street Value: $2.7 million*

David Letterman is a huge car aficionado, and he has a collection valued at millions of dollars. The former late-night talk show host owns eight Ferraris (as well as six Porsches, three Austin Healeys, an MGA, and a Jaguar).  His 1968 Ferrari 330 GTS is one of the highlights in his garage.

The luxury convertible was intended to take the place of the Ferrari 275 GTS. It’s a stunning vehicle with elegant style combined with a top speed of 150 miles per hour, a V-12 engine, and a decent amount of cargo space. Other Ferraris in his collection include the 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO, 1963 Ferrari Lusso, 1983 Ferrari 512 BBI, 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS, 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE, 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS, and a Ferrari Daytona.

2. George Foreman

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari F40
Est. Street Value: $560,000

In April 2019, boxing icon George Foreman and his family were lucky to survive without injury after a fire broke out in the garage of his mansion in Texas. He was also fortunate that his stable of 40 luxury vehicles, including a few Ferraris, also escaped largely unharmed.

Foreman previously owned a Ferrari F40 worth around $560,000. He sold it in 2013, writing on Twitter: “My baby left me. Ferrari F40! Had her many years 1700 miles. Travel well, ya fast Thang.” He later added that he was sorry that he sold it.

When asked by a fan why he let it go, Foreman answered, “‘A time to get, and a time to lose.’ It’s a 91 I had only 1700 miles. Hope someone drives it.” Other Ferraris in his current collection include a 2000 Ferrari 360 and Ferrari 458.

3. Elton John

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari 365 GT4 BB
Est. Street Value: $400,000

The rare Ferrari 365 GT4 BB that Elton John has owned for 45 years can be yours (if you have $400,000 to spend). The vehicle was Ferrari’s first mid-engined, 12-cylinder production car and was the fastest and priciest vehicle in the world when it hit the market in 1974.

The “BB” in the name refers to Berlinetta Boxer; however, many believe the supercar’s designation also paid tribute to famous French sex symbol Brigitte Bardot. The singer was just 27 years old when he got the car, the same year he started the Rocket Record Company, had the hit song “Benny and the Jets,” and worked with John Lennon.

Just 367 were made, and of those only 58 were right hand drive. The 365 GT4 BB, with just 10,000 miles on the odometer, is being auctioned off by Bonhams.

4. Seal

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari F430 Spider
Est. Street Value: $100,000-$130,000

Seal’s Ferrari F430 was so popular among enthusiasts that Hotwheels produced a Ferrari F430 Spider Black Elite Edition diecast model of his exact vehicle. The F430 was produced from 2004 to 2009 as a successor to the Ferrari 360. The real deal features a V8 engine and a top speed of 196 mph.

The F430 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, shaving off 0.6 seconds of time compared to the previous model. The MSRP at the time of production was $186,925 to $217,318. The Spider is the convertible version.

While the vehicle is fast and sexy, it wasn’t perfect. in 2009, the Italian manufacturer recalled around 2,000 of the F430 Spiders due to a fire risk. Heat from the engine potentially could have fractured the hydraulic hoses and leak flammable fluid.

5. Axl Rose

Ferrari of Choice: Enzo Ferrari
Est. Street Value: $2-3 million

Guns N’ Roses singer Axel Rose has owned several Ferraris, including an Enzo. He’s also had a Ferrari 360 and Ferrari 550 Marinello. It’s unclear which he currently still keeps in his garage. He sold his 1999 Ferrari Marinello in the early aughts.

The frontman sued a Beverly Hills dealership in 2006, claiming Beverly Hills Classic Cars failed to give him $135,000 owed to him after they sold his Marinello via consignment. The dealership also reportedly received a $20,000 deposit from Rose to get him a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo and a 2005 Porsche GT3 but never delivered.

Rose has also owned a Porsche 918 Spyder, Lamborghini Murcielago and Bentley Continental Flying Spur. His band hit its peak in popularity in the late ’80s with hits such as “Paradise City,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Welcome to the Jungle.”

6. Michael Jordan

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari Testarossa
Est. Street Value: $150,000

One of Michael Jordan’s favorite vehicles was his Ferrari 512 Testarossa. He paid $212,000 for the modified TR in the early ’90s, which was quite a bit of cash 25 years ago. Ferrari produced around 10,000 Testarossas from 1984 to 1996 with a 4.9-liter, 12-cylinder mid engine.

There’s a famous photo of Jordan hanging out in his Testarossa in 1992. In 2013, fellow NBA star Chris Webber recalled watching Jordan exiting the Ferrari, which had a license plate that read “M – AIR – J.”

“I’ll never forget, Jordan was sitting on his Ferrari and Pippen was right there and they have a cigar lit. We get off the bus and we have to pass them with a lit cigar. You want to talk about posturing?” Webber told the Dan Patrick Show.

7. Kim Kardashian

Ferrari of Choice: Custom Ferrari F430
Est. Street Value: $164,000

Before she married Kanye West and Kris Humphries, reality star Kim Kardashian dated football running back Reggie Bush. There’s no doubt some of the attraction was due to his taste in sports cars, specifically a grey Ferrari F430 with color matched 20-inch and 22-inch iForged wheels.

Up until that point, Kardashian was typically spotted driving around in her black Bentley Continental GT. Busg obviously had no problem letting her drive his Ferrari. Ten years ago the MRSP on the F430 was $186,925.

Bush must have trusted Kardashian’s driving skills to allow her to scoot around town in such a fast car. Her other rides have included a Rolls-Royce Ghost, Mercedes McLaren SLR, Range Rover, and a Maserati GranTurismo Cabriolet.

8. David Beckham

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari 612 Scagletti
Est. Street Value: $410,000

What better way to celebrate the birth of a daughter than by adding a Ferrari to your car collection? Soccer star David Beckham did just that after Harper Seven, his fourth child with wife Victoria Beckham, was born in 2011. He chose a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.

Beckham has a penchant for black supercars, so the Scaglietti was a natural fit. The Ferrari has been spotted at his vacation home in Malibu, and it includes the number seven on the rear passenger-side bumper, representing his former jersey number.

The Scaglietti has a 5.7-liter V12 engine with 533 hp and a top speed of 199 mph.

9. George Lucas

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari Dino 206 GT
Est. Street Value: $620,000

Legendary Star Wars creator George Lucas has loved cars since he was a little kid. Back in the late ’50s when he was about 14 years old he got involved with racing. “Ferrari was number one. That was the only real name that you knew was Ferrari,” he explained during a 2013 trip to the Ferrari production center and headquarters.

Lucas added that he was a Ferrari fan for as long as he could remember. The first car he raced was a Fiat, which he claims he almost killed himself in, and success allowed him to upgrade his ride quite significantly. The filmmaker reportedly owns a Ferrari Dino 206 GT.

Ferraris have always held a special place in his heart, and the Hollywood legend certainly has enough money in the bank to splurge one one of the world’s most luxurious brands.

10. Rod Stewart

Ferrari of Choice: Enzo Ferrari
Est. Street Value: $1 million

During an interview with GQ magazine, singer Rod Stewart once quipped, “I’ve got Ferraris coming out me bum.” In 2002, he bought a limited-edition Ferrari Enzo, which had a top speed of 220 mph. He sold the Enzo in 2013 for a little more than $1 million. Just five years later he regretted the decision.

The Enzo wound up skyrocketing in value. During an interview with the Sun, he explained, “When I married Penny [Lancaster] I had a Ferrari Enzo. I sold it. I shouldn’t have — it’s worth a fortune now.”

Stewart revealed that he sold the car because it drew unwanted attention from fellow enthusiasts. He said: “You had to clear frenzied car lovers out of the way to get back in the driving seat.”

11. Nick Cannon

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari California
Est. Street Value: $195,000

In 2016, Nick Cannon appeared on Jay Leno’s Garage, and the pair cruised around in Cannon’s 2013 Ferrari California. He told Leno, “I have a lot of supercars, but I’m not a fast driver.” He explained that he liked going around two miles an hour and just cruise around so everybody could see him.

His Ferrari California has a V8 engine with 453 hp. Leno commented, “I think Nick misses the point of these whole supercars. But hey, to each his own. Who am I to say?”

Cannon is such a car lover that he decided to launch his own auto business and help friends and other people find the right car or modify and refurbish the ones they already owned.

12. Nicolas Cage

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari Enzo
Est. Street Value: $1 million

Nicolas Cage is a well-known celebrity who’s acted in a slew of films, but he’s had his share of financial problems over the years. That’s why in 2012 he was forced to sell his Ferrari Enzo, which had an MSRP of $670,000 and was one of the most expensive vehicles ever owned by a Hollywood star.

Nicolas Cage @Celebrity Cars/Facebook Nicolas Cage @Celebrity Cars/Facebook

Cage had some tax issues going back to 2009. Combined with some real estate investments gone sour, many of his prized possessions were put on the auction block. The Enzo has a top speed of 221 mph and it skyrocketed in popularity after Demi Moore drove one in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.

It’s unclear how much Cage got for the Enzo, but it likely helped pay off a good chunk of his debt.

13. Gordon Ramsay

Ferrari of Choice: LaFerrari Aperta
Est. Street Value: $2.1 million

In 2016, celebrity chef Gordan Ramsay revealed on TV show Top Gear that he acquired a new LaFerrari Aperta, which is a Spider variant of the million-dollar hypercar. “Hey, guys. I woke up this morning to find this giant ‘spider’ on my doorstep. Check this one out,” he gloated in a video reveal.

Ramsay than ran over to his new ride and exclaimed, “Holy mackerel! Wow! Oh, man! I love you. This is LaFerrari Aperta. Done.” The often grumpy chef was obviously delighted with his new possession, the existence of which was revealed two weeks before Ferrari officially announced the new model.

Only 199 Apertas were built, and all of them were sold before the model was officially announced. The 6.3-liter V12 has 950 hp and a top speed of 217 mph.

14. Eddie Murphy

Ferrari of Choice: Ferrari 599
Est. Street Value: Around $200,000

Eddie Murphy is the proud owner of a black Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. The comedian/actor’s net worth is estimated at $85 million, so it’s no surprise that he has a supercar or two in his collection. It’s called 599 because of it its total engine displacement 5,999 cc (6.0 liters).

Eddie Murphy @Celebrity Cars/Facebook Eddie Murphy @Celebrity Cars/Facebook

In 2006, the front-engined 599 replaced the 575M Maranello and was later replaced in the 2013 model year by the F12 berlinetta. The 599 has a V12 engine and a top speed of 205 mph. It can go zero to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds.

Murphy is known for his comedic prowess in the ’80s and beyond. Worldwide, his films have grossed more than $6.6 billion. It’s unclear which of his 10 children will inherit his Ferrari
