Exascale Labs Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: XLAB) and Compal Electronics Inc. have signed a non-binding Letter of Intent to jointly develop a U.S.-based validation platform for GPU systems using native 800-volt direct current (VDC) architecture, according to a press release dated Sept. 14, 2026.

The platform will combine Compal's GPU servers and liquid cooling systems with Exascale's Modular Data Center and solid-state transformer (SST) power architecture. The project is intended to validate power, compute, cooling, and software controls as an integrated system before potential commercial deployment.

Exascale Labs Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: XLAB) and EnergyBank have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to explore grid-independent AI compute infrastructure powered by floating offshore wind and long-duration energy storage, according to a press release.

The agreement contemplates an initial pilot targeting up to 800kW of compute-ready power using Zephyros-One, described as the first floating offshore wind turbine, operated by Sustainable Energy Norway. EnergyBank is expected to fund the pilot through a combination of private investment and potential public funding.

Under the MOU, the companies plan to conduct joint technical feasibility work, define a reference architecture, and develop a roadmap for scaling.
