Wrap Technologies picked to support $475,000 Florida teacher safety program

Wrap Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: WRAP) announced it has been selected by WOFT Charities to provide training support for the WOFT Teacher Safety Training Program, which received $475,000 in Florida's fiscal year 2026–27 state budget.

The appropriation appears in the Conference Report for HB 5001E and is directed to WOFT, a 501(c)(3) organization. WRAP will receive a portion of the funding through WOFT based on the services it provides. The full $475,000 should not be interpreted as a direct award to WRAP, nor as the entirety of future revenue to the company.

Wrap Technologies and Xinsurance launch private security program

Wrap Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: WRAP) and specialty insurance provider Xinsurance announced a partnership to develop the Wrap Safe Response Program, a certified operating standard for organizations that employ or contract security personnel across the United States.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' May 2025 Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, approximately 1.28 million security guards are employed in the U.S., compared with approximately 671,000 police and sheriff's patrol officers. The program is designed for both armed and unarmed personnel across sectors including healthcare, retail, hospitality, transportation, education, and government facilities.
