Waraba Gold agrees to buy 80% of Côte d'Ivoire gold licence for A$5M

Waraba Gold Limited (CSE: WBGD, OTC Pink: WARAF, FSE: ZE00) has signed a binding agreement to acquire an 80% interest in Leo Resources SARL, the holder of gold exploration licence PR-683 covering 212.66 km² in northern Côte d'Ivoire, from a subsidiary of Desert Metals Limited (ASX: DM1), according to a company press release.

The all-cash transaction carries a maximum consideration of A$5.0 million, payable in stages. Waraba will pay an A$500,000 deposit, followed by A$1.9 million at completion, with an additional payment of up to A$2.3 million contingent on the licence being renewed or extended beyond its scheduled November 3, 2027
