Vizsla Silver names Luis Lázaro as president of Mexico operations

Vizsla Silver Corp. (TSX: VZLA, NYSE: VZLA) has appointed Luis Lázaro as President, Mexico, effective immediately, according to a company statement. In the role, Lázaro will oversee in-country operations and lead the advancement of the company's Panuco silver project in Sinaloa through permitting, construction and potential production, targeting first silver output in the second half of 2027.

Lázaro brings 30 years of operational and leadership experience across multinational and privately held businesses in Mexico. He most recently served as chief executive officer of Citrofrut, described as Mexico's largest citrus juice processor. Prior roles include leading the fishing division of Grupo PINSA,
