VinFast launches certified pre-owned program for used EVs in Canada

VinFast has launched a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program in Canada, transferring the unused portion of its original 10-year/200,000-km vehicle warranty to subsequent owners, according to a company statement.

CPO vehicles under the program undergo a 105-point inspection that includes battery-health checks, and come with a Carfax vehicle history report and 24/7 roadside assistance. VinFast began delivering its first Canadian VF 8 vehicles in June 2023 and offers a separate 10-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty on high-voltage batteries.
