SLAM Exploration names Jimmy Gravel as president and CEO

SLAM Exploration Ltd. (TSXV: SXL)(OTCQB: SXLXF) announced the appointment of Jimmy Gravel as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, according to a company statement dated October 9, 2026.

Gravel succeeds Michael Taylor, who served as President and CEO for nearly 30 years after being appointed to the role on November 26, 1996. Taylor will remain with the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Gravel joined SLAM's Board of Directors in February 2025 and was appointed Vice-President in June of that year. He is the founder and Vice-President of 21Alpha Resources Inc., a private exploration company in Nova Scotia, and
