Proxy advisory firms Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and Glass, Lewis & Co. have each recommended that Sunrise Realty Trust (NASDAQ: SUNS) stockholders vote in favor of two proposals related to the company's planned merger with Southern Realty Trust Inc. (SRT), according to a press release from Sunrise Realty Trust.

ISS issued its recommendation on Oct. 1, 2026, and Glass Lewis followed on Oct. 6, 2026. Both firms' recommendations align with the unanimous recommendation of Sunrise Realty Trust's board of directors.
