UBS flags this name, sees "significant potential for stock outperformance"

UBS on Thursday upgraded a European life sciences company to Buy from Neutral, raising its price target to €300 from €240, flagging an improving growth outlook heading into 2027.

Analysts led by Matthew Weston believe the company is "well-positioned for accelerating growth from 2027-2029E," pointing to strong underlying demand in bioprocess consumables and a likely rebound in biomanufacturing equipment orders.

"With accelerating underlying growth drivers, we see significant potential for stock outperformance," they wrote.

UBS raised its 2028-31 sales and core earnings-per-share estimates by an average of about 3%, placing its numbers roughly 3% ahead of Visible Alpha consensus for those years,
