Sterling Metals Corp. (TSXV: SAG)(OTCQB: SAGGF) reported assay results from initial drilling at a new eastern pad at its Soo Copper Project near Batchewana Bay, Ontario, expanding the drilled mineralized footprint to approximately 2 kilometers east-west.

The three new holes were drilled from a pad located approximately 850 meters east of SC-26-16, which had been the previous eastern limit of the MEPS copper zone. The key intercept, SC-26-20, returned 206.2 meters grading 0.28% copper equivalent (CuEq) from 49.8 meters to 256.0 meters depth, with higher-grade intervals including 100.5 meters at 0.40% CuEq, 38.6 meters at 0.65% CuEq, and 20.0 meters at

Richard Patricio was elected to the board of directors at the meeting. Sterling Metals Corp. (TSXV: SAG) (OTCQB: SAGGF) has closed its acquisition of QcX Gold Corp. (TSXV: QCX) (OTC Pink: QCXGF) through a court-approved plan of arrangement under British Columbia's Business Corporations Act, according to a press release.

QcX shareholders approved the transaction at a special meeting held Aug. 18, 2026. Under the terms, QcX shareholders received one Sterling share for every 4.81026 QcX shares held, based on an exchange ratio of 0.20789.
