Nuclear reactor developer newcleo announced it will become a publicly traded company through a merger with special purpose acquisition company NewHold Investment Corp III (NASDAQ: NHIC), valuing the combined entity at approximately $2.4 billion.

The transaction is expected to provide up to $429 million in gross proceeds, combining $220 million from a private investment in public equity (PIPE) and up to $209 million from NewHold's trust account. The PIPE was oversubscribed at $10.00 per share for 22 million ordinary shares.
