WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y., Oct. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- National Fuel Gas Company (NYSE: NFG) today announced it will release its fourth quarter and full year fiscal 2026 earnings results on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 after market close.

A conference call to discuss the results will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET and will include prepared remarks from the executive team followed by a question and answer session.

National Fuel Gas Company (NYSE: NFG) announced its board of directors approved a plan to separate its Integrated Upstream and Gathering business (IUG) into an independent, publicly traded company through a tax-free spin-off, according to a press release issued Oct. 14, 2026.

The separation is expected to be completed in the second half of 2027, subject to conditions including SEC filings, financing arrangements, and final board approval. National Fuel plans to distribute at least 80.1% of IUG shares to existing shareholders on a pro rata basis, retaining up to 19.9% of IUG, which it intends to dispose of in a tax-efficient

National Fuel Gas Company (NYSE: NFG) has completed its acquisition of CenterPoint Energy's Ohio natural gas utility business, Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio, LLC, the company announced Oct. 1, 2026.

The acquired utility, which serves approximately 335,000 customers across 16 counties in the Dayton and greater Miami Valley region, will be renamed National Fuel Gas Distribution of Ohio, LLC. With the addition, National Fuel's total utility customer base grows to approximately 1.1 million customers.

According to the company, the transaction doubles its utility rate base and expands its operations into Ohio. Approximately 200 employees from the acquired business are joining National Fuel

CenterPoint Energy (NYSE: CNP) completed the $2.62 billion sale of its Ohio natural gas distribution business, Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio, LLC, to National Fuel Gas Company (NYSE: NFG) on Oct. 1, 2026.

The assets include approximately 5,900 miles of gas transmission and distribution pipeline serving around 335,000 metered customers in West Central Ohio. National Fuel, headquartered in Western New York, will immediately assume responsibility for serving those customers.

The transaction received all required federal and state approvals, including a review by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.
