StrikePoint Gold Inc. (TSXV: SKP) (OTCQB: STKXF) has completed its acquisition of the Northumberland Gold Project in Nevada's Walker Lane from subsidiaries of Newmont Corporation (NYSE: NEM), according to a company statement. Trading in StrikePoint shares has resumed following the closing, reflecting a share consolidation announced Sept. 29, 2026.

The Northumberland project carries an independent mineral resource estimate, effective July 31, 2026, of 2.86 million ounces of gold equivalent in the indicated category and 1.57 million ounces in the inferred category, contained within 67 million tonnes and 31 million tonnes, respectively. StrikePoint Gold Inc. (TSXV: SKP) (OTCQB: STKXF) completed its acquisition of the Northumberland Gold Project in Nevada's Walker Lane from subsidiaries of Newmont Corporation (NYSE: NEM) on October 6, 2026, paying US$70 million in cash at closing.

Under the purchase agreement, StrikePoint has also agreed to two additional contingent payments of US$25 million each — the first due within 120 days after completing a feasibility study, and the second within 120 days after reaching certain commercial production milestones at the project.

The acquisition was funded primarily through a C$190 million bought deal private placement of subscription receipts, led by Canaccord Genuity Corp.
