Magna Terra Minerals Inc. (TSXV: MTT) has acquired a 100% interest in three epithermal gold-silver projects in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina, replacing an existing option agreement with a private individual.

The three projects — Cerro Covadonga, El Meridiano, and La Rosita — were previously held under an option agreement that carried remaining cash payments totaling $290,000 and a 2% Net Smelter Royalty (NSR) on each property. Under the new acquisition agreement, those obligations have been eliminated. Magna Terra Minerals Inc. (TSXV: MTT) has completed a non-brokered private placement, raising gross proceeds of $3,750,000.80, according to a company statement.

The offering consisted of 8,421,056 premium flow-through common shares priced at $0.2375 per share and 10,000,000 common shares priced at $0.175 per share.

Proceeds from the flow-through shares will fund Canadian exploration expenses at the company's Humber and Shellbird projects in western Newfoundland and the Prospect Or's Dream, Rocky Brook, and Cape Spencer projects in New Brunswick.

Magna Terra Minerals Inc. (TSXV: MTT) has increased its private placement offering by $1.75 million, bringing total gross proceeds to up to $3.75 million, according to a company statement.
