McFarlane Lake Mining Limited (CSE: MLM, OTCQB: MLMLF, FRA: W2Z) has appointed Gilbert Lamarche, P.Eng., as Chief Operating Officer, effective Oct. 15, 2026, according to a company statement.

Lamarche brings more than 25 years of experience in mining operations, development, and technical leadership in Canada. He most recently served as COO of Foran Mining Corporation, which was acquired by Eldorado Gold earlier this year. In that role, he oversaw the McIlvenna Bay Project in Saskatchewan through construction and into commissioning of a 4,900 tonne-per-day underground mining and milling operation.
