The analyst comments: “We are downgrading LXP to Hold following Brookfield's agreement to acquire the company, which effectively caps near-term upside and shifts the investment case from fundamentals to deal completion. With shares trading near the implied takeout value and only a small likelihood of a competing bid, we believe the stock is likely to trade in line with the deal consideration until closing.”
