LightPath Technologies gets $11M infrared camera order for C-UAS use

LightPath Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: LPTH) announced it has received an $11 million follow-on purchase order for infrared cameras from an unnamed global technology customer, intended for counter-UAS (C-UAS) applications.

The Orlando, Florida-based company said the order builds on previously announced purchase orders with the same customer. The agreement includes a planned transition from Germanium-based optics to LightPath's proprietary BlackDiamond™ materials over the course of the program.

LightPath Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: LPTH) announced a securities purchase agreement with institutional investors for the sale of 7.14 million shares of Class A common stock at $14.00 per share.

The offering consists of 3.57 million shares sold by the company and 3.57 million shares sold by North Run Strategic Opportunities Fund I, LP. LightPath will receive gross proceeds of $50 million from its portion of the sale, while it will not receive proceeds from the secondary offering by the selling stockholder.
