Comstock Inc. (NYSE: LODE) and Sierra Springs Opportunity Fund, Inc. (SSOF) have engaged Newmark (Nasdaq: NMRK) to advise on approximately 2,200 acres of land in Silver Springs, Nevada, according to a press release from the companies.

Comstock holds a 47.63% fully diluted ownership interest in SSOF, a qualified opportunity zone fund that owns Sierra Springs Enterprises, Inc. Comstock Inc. (NYSE: LODE) announced that its subsidiary, Comstock Metals LLC, has transitioned its solar panel recycling facility in Silver Springs, Nevada to continuous, 24-hour operations.

The facility operates across four shift teams and processes end-of-life solar panels under a zero-landfill model. According to the company, the operation provides utility-scale solar customers with chain-of-custody documentation confirming that end-of-life regulatory obligations have been met.

Comstock Inc. (NYSE: LODE) has closed the sale of its legacy mining assets to Mackay Precious Metals Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mackay Gold & Silver Corp., in a transaction valued at more than $45 million, according to a company statement.

Comstock received $20 million in cash and 2 million common shares of Mackay Gold & Silver Corp., currently valued at approximately $4.5 million. The company expects to record a gain of approximately $10 million to $12 million on the sale, with no cash taxes anticipated.
