KIDZ AI Inc. (NASDAQ: KIDZ, NASDAQ: KIDZW), an education technology company, has appointed Karan Bansal as AI Security Advisor, according to a company press release. The role will focus on the architecture of the company's AI compute platform as it targets institutional customers.

Bansal was a founding engineer at AvidSecure, a cloud security company that was acquired by Sophos. He has spent a decade in security engineering and has presented work on securing AI coding agents at OWASP conferences and SecurityWeek's CodeSecCon. Kidz AI Inc. (NASDAQ: KIDZ, NASDAQ: KIDZW), an education technology company with AI infrastructure initiatives, has signed an agreement to acquire a 2.0% minority equity interest in Huading Development (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., the owner and operator of Cambodia's first Tier III data center in Phnom Penh.

According to a press release, the facility has been designated by the Royal Government of Cambodia as the country's national cloud data center.
